A Cambridge University law graduate and Chartered Accountant (Deloitte, 1999), Spencer has been in healthcare since 2005, and as finance director since 2008. His experience cover pharmaceutical, medical device and diagnostics companies, and ranges from start-ups to plcs. In 2012 he joined Crawford Healthcare in 2012 where he was instrumental in consistently delivering and managing industry-leading growth, culminating in the sale of the business to market leader Acelity in 2018 for >£100 million. As well as driving expansion, he specialises in structuring and negotiating innovative transactions. Since 2018 he has acted as a consultant and NXD across a variety of healthcare businesses.
